Bill Jolly is a (3) time Emmy Award winning composer/ arranger/ musical director and keyboardist. He’s been featured twice in Keyboard Magazine and has composed music for HBO, MTV, NBC, ABC, CBS, Showtime, Columbia Tri- Star Pictures, Millennium Films, Coca-Cola, McDonalds and numerous media outlets globally. He has appeared in commercials and endorsements for Verizon, Hyatt, Bose, Korg, ProjectSam and Advanta Bank. Bill has directed The Emmy Awards, The Rhythm and Blues Foundation Awards, Susan G. Komen’s “Honoring the Promise” Gala (at the Kennedy Center) and Radio One's 25th Anniversary (featuring Beyonce'.) Bill is currently in his 4th year as the Musical Director for the Marian Anderson Awards honoring Motown's Berry Gordy, Jon Bon Jovi, Wynton Marsalis, Gamble and Huff and Patti LaBelle along the way.

Bill has performed before (5) U.S. Presidents as well as both the Democratic and Republican National Conventions. He’s appeared onstage with Usher, Michael Buble’, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Ledisi, Kim Burrell, Aretha Franklin, Rachelle Ferrell, Chaka Kahn, The All-American Rejects, Musiq, Anthony Hamilton, Jill Scott, Bonnie Raitt, Estelle, Tyrese, Lela Hathaway, Paul Schafer, Wayne Brady and the late Grover Washington Jr. to name a few. Bill was the Choir Director for Celine Dion and Michael Bolton and was a member of the Clinton "We Are The World" Inauguration Choir conducted by Quincy Jones. Bill conducted and directed the orchestra for the Sony/Live Nation DVD and PBS TV special “Love Train: The Sound of Philadelphia” as well as the late Teddy Pendergrass’ DVD, “From Teddy with Love.”

His theater credits include Stephen Stahl’s “Lady Day,” (The Billie Holiday story) starring Dee Dee Bridgewater, (Off- Broadway, London and Paris tours) the Off- Broadway comedy, “Norma Doesmen,” “It Ain’t Nothin’ But The Blues,” “Ain't Misbehavin',” and the gospel play, “The Gate Called Straight.”

Bill was a founding member of the Phila. NARAS branch, was inducted into Overbrook High School's Hall Of Fame and the Phila. Music Alliance Walk of Fame (as a member of TSOP.) He received the 2014 "Will Smith Overbrook High School Distinguished Alumnus Award" from the Elvira B. Pierce Scholarship Fund and received West Chester University's Distinguished Alumni Award and their “Drum Major for Peace” Awards.

Bill's collaborated on music with Academy Award nominated director Lee Daniels on his 2012 film, “The Paperboy,” starring Nicole Kidman, Zac Efron and Matthew McConaughey and 2013's “The Butler,” starring Oprah, Terrence Howard, Cuba Gooding, Jr., Jane Fonda, Lenny Kravitz and Forrest Whitaker. He's scored music for numerous independent films and documentaries.

Bill delivered the Commencement speech at West Chester University's 2013 graduation exercises, receiving the first standing ovation for a guest speaker since he graduated. Bill is the global winner of Hyatt’s “The Big Welcome” contest which netted him 365 free Hyatt stays and 1 million free airline miles. He's travelled completely around the world and completed his personal bucket list by seeing all 7 Wonders Of The World. Bill is the leader of the "Hard Drive All-Stars" band and created the Be Jolly Foundation For The Arts to raise money and awareness for music education and the arts. Bill is a single father of a beautiful young daughter named Bianca.
