Alt Rockers She Became Grey exploded onto the Philadelphia music scene in the early 1990s. Their critically acclaimed first Album “Jesus Every 15 Feet” sold out of nearly every record store in Philadelphia, and set the all-time sales record for Tower Records local album sales in 1993. Featured on local cable channel Prism’s “Live From the Middle East” and regulars on 93.3 WMMR’s “Street Beat” with Cyndy Drue and 104.5 WDRE’s Live and Local with Marilyn Russell, She Became Grey quickly developed a large local fan base, selling out local venues like the TLA and the Trocadero. Marilyn Russell voted their first single “Lorraine” best song of the year. They spread their pre-
emo sound across the East Coast, expanding their fan base from New York City to Boston. With major record label interest growing, the band abruptly disbanded in 1997 after the release of their second album, “Songs to Swing By”.

Now, 20 years later, the band has reunited to perform at the Ardmore Music Hall to benefit the family of their late manager, Brian Hyland, who passed away suddenly at the age of 47. All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Hyland Family.
