Flightschool
Flightschool
Since forming in 2008, Philadelphia rockers Flightschool have steadily earned larger venues up and down the east coast via their energetic live performances. The four-piece blends straight rock with blues and jam influences anchored by a two-headed guitar attack. Buckle up for a set of inspired originals with a wingspan from the 70s prog of ELO to the more current sounds of the Arctic Monkeys.

Flightschool released its debut EP back in 2014 which they recorded at the Red Planet Studio's in Lansdowne, PA. In 2015, the boys have been back at the Red Planet hard at work on their first full length album due to come out at the end of this year.
Denizen
Denizen
Distilling the sounds of American music, Denizen hail from tradition but cut the edge on rock today. One listen to the band and you will find the door re-opened to rock, though you may need re-introduction. There’s no clear way to capture their music by description even though it most definitely has something to say. In a world of synthetic beats, focus-grouped lyrics and test-tube pop stars, Denizen emerges as a clarion reminder that music is either live or else it’s dead – is either fashioned organically, from real experiences of pain, loss, love, joy, spirituality…or else is just more static for the radio. They believe in themselves, they believe in their fans, and they believe their art has the power to unite both in some way. And that’s why they’ve been out there night after night after night givin it all away.
Bird Watcher
Bird Watcher
Bird Watcher is a live recording and performance project begun by singer/songwriter (and host of WXPN's "Sleepy Hollow") Julian Booker and producer Jesse Soifer in 2013. In the early months of the following year, they enlisted guitarists Andrew Ciampa and Dan Wisniewski, bassist Ben Rosen, drummer Mark Rybaltowski, and vocalist Ashley Cubbler. They have since recorded a series of singles and released their first full length album in October, 2015; they have performed at many venues in and around Philadelphia including World Cafe Live, Johnny Brenda's, Ardmore Music Hall, the Live on Vine Festival in Lancaster, PA, and Boot & Saddle.

Like Booker's Sunday morning playlists, Bird Watcher's songs reflect a wide array of musical influence and interests, ranging from Indie/Classic Rock to Americana/Country and even insinuations of Jazz and Blues. Often those influences are directly discussed within the song's lyrics, with references to Neil Young, "Champion" Jack Dupree, and John Coltrane being a few of many to show themselves on Bird Watcher's upcoming debut. These disparate styles conveyed within a mostly traditional instrumental structure make Bird Watcher's music simultaneously exciting and familiar.
